Tattoo Drawing...

I got my iPod case today.. My car stereo iPod connector does not fit in the iPod with the case on! Oh well, I will be returning it tomorrow.. :(

Went to the Putnam Tattoo place today and saw the drawing he made for me..

I really like the air and water.. I like the fire but I am going to have him turn it so that the top of the flame is at the knot.. The tree is ok, I really like the roots but I'm not to crazy about the branches, they look more like antlers than a tree top. The artist (Dave) is going to re-draw the tree and fire and call me next week.

I would like to hear what you think.. I know it's my opinion that matters in the end but I would like to hear what you think..

----
Watched Big Bang Theory tonight, it was pretty good.. I thought it tried a little too hard but I'm going to give it another shot.. I added it as a season pass so I will give it a few more episodes before making a final decision.

----
I just copied the pics of my phone so I wanted to post a pic or two from the communal dinner this week..

That's it for me for tonight.. Going to catch up on some more TV tonight..

  1. I'm surprised that you like the water? But otherwise, I am not surprised by the changes you want to make, and I think it's both pretty cool, and on the right track!

  2. I totally agree on the tree... it needs to be tigher in the trunk area, and the branches need to curve the other way - up and then back down again instead of just up.
The flame looks good the way it is... but I get that you want it all to focus towards the center.

  3. I don't love the air... because it just kinda looks like some random shapes to me... but really air is tough. And I know what it is in context with the other things. So its passable.

  4. I'm actually surprised that he said you requested the elements be tribal. I was under a more traditional impression, I guess.

I like Lynz's air the best so far I think.

I do like the concept of the tree if he can take the suggestion that Sara just made.

Something about the outline lines on this one seem very inorganic.

I'm still looking for the "Ah-ha!, that's it" drawing.
